Spanning the centuries, Music for Guitar, Lute and Vihuela explores the repertoires of these instruments from the 16th century Renaissance onwards. Covering five volumes in all, unique in their breadth and depth of enquiry, each is self-contained, tracing the shaping of music for these instruments.
Delving into their musical seams, prevailing melodic inclinations, harmonies and stylistic traits come to light.
